  • Collectively they have over 70 years of mountaineering and outdoor experience.

Their qualifications and memberships, besides being University graduates, include the following:

  • Accredited tour guides, mountain guides, abseil guides, members of the Cape Province Mountain Club, International School of Mountaineering, South African Mountain Guide Association, South African Mountain Development Trust (mountaineering and rock climbing), members of the Wilderness Search and Rescue Service (mountain rescue) in the Western Cape and qualified first aid practitioners.

The business partners are all formerly disadvantaged individuals and the business is thus fully black owned. Kabbo is also a participant of the Umsobomvu Youth Fund. This fund is helping black South African youth to start their own businesses.
